Information We Receive
Information may arrive in three ways. Search terms entered into a sponsored search box are transmitted to the outside search provider that processes the query. Messages sent directly to us include the details the sender chooses to provide, such as a name, email address, and message. Servers and analytics services may automatically record technical information, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location, and timestamps.
Do not send Social Security numbers, financial account details, passwords, copies of identity documents, or sensitive legal files through a general site message.
Cookies and Similar Tools
Cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies may remember preferences, measure visits, diagnose errors, prevent abuse, and support advertising. Analytics and advertising providers may set their own identifiers under their policies. Browser settings can block or delete cookies, though parts of the site or an outside service may then work differently.
How Information Is Used
Collected information may be used to operate and secure the site, answer messages, understand which pages are useful, repair broken links, improve navigation, measure traffic, prevent fraud or misuse, and meet legal duties. Search terms may be used by the search partner to produce results. We do not control how an outside provider combines or retains data after a visitor leaves this site.
When Data May Be Shared
Information may be provided to vendors that support hosting, analytics, security, advertising, or site communications. Search queries go to the partner that handles the search. Advertising networks may receive technical identifiers used to deliver or measure ads. Information may also be disclosed when required by a valid subpoena, court order, or other lawful demand, or when reasonably needed to protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
We do not promise that a linked government office, news outlet, or records provider follows this notice. Review the privacy terms posted by each outside destination.
Outside Links and Records
Links may lead to Justice Services, St. Louis County Police, Missouri courts, Missouri DOC, MOVANS/VINE, city police departments, federal locators, and commercial tools. Those sites collect and manage information under their own rules. This site hosts no jail roster, arrest record, court file, or booking-photo gallery and cannot change an official record maintained elsewhere.
Security and Retention
Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect information, but no website, transmission, or storage method is completely secure. Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, site operation, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance. Retention by an outside search, analytics, or advertising provider is governed by that provider.
Children’s Privacy
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal information from minors. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information directly to this site may use the Contact Us page to request review.
Your Privacy Choices
Visitors may disable cookies through browser controls, avoid sponsored search tools, and decline to send a message. Depending on applicable law, a person may ask what personal information was submitted directly to us and request correction or deletion. Identity verification may be required before acting. These choices do not give us power to alter records held by St. Louis County, a court, Missouri DOC, or another outside source.
Changes to This Notice
This Privacy Notice may be revised when practices, vendors, or legal requirements change. The updated wording takes effect when posted. Continued use after an update means the visitor is using the site under the current notice.
Privacy Questions
Send questions about information provided directly to this website through Contact Us. Questions about a government record or an outside provider’s data must be directed to that custodian or provider.
